Background

 

The Rally of Rotorua is a joint venture between the  Hamilton Car Club, the Rotorua Car Club and Rally of New Zealand.

The rationale for the event is to create a second international event in New Zealand  which operates at a lower level to the World Championship event. A more "user friendly" event, providing competitors with exposure to international rallying in a less daunting environment.
